When did you start coding?

I started coding on and off at the age of 14 prior to college. My first language was C++ and my original motivations stemmed from video game hacking and computer security. I was primarily targeting RTS and FPS video games while also browsing a bunch of hacker forums at a young age with absolutely no parental supervision on one of those old beige CRT monitors.

What got you into AI?

I was really interested in Cognition and Human Psychology but was also neck deep in Computer Science and Engineering. Somehow, I had risen to the lofty goal of trying to re-create the faculties of the human brain through code and math. I'm naturally a visual person and love visual arts; so I had fallen into a sub-category; that of vision.

Where do you live?

As of September 20, 2025, I am currently living in the city of Chicago, IL.

Where did you go to school?

University of California, San Diego. For both a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Applied Mathematics.
